Dish - Dinner and a Movie

The lights dim. A hush settles in the room. A musical score plays. Credits roll across the screen. The time for snacking begins.
Popcorn? Passé. Candy? Common. Soda? Stereotypical.
How about chocolate-dipped strawberries, oyster po boys with sweet potato fries and a big slice of peanut-raisin pie?
Across our region, there are several distinct culinary calling cards—components of living and eating in Hampton Roads.
We've paired eight of these outstanding eats with some of our favorite films—movies that either have a central theme around food or movies that have memorable food moments—to give you some ideas for having the ultimate dinner-and-a-show experience.
